The Mary A. Carter Temple No. 362 will host it’s first pre-Mother’s Day Fashion Show on Saturday, from 4 to 7 p.m.
For a $15 donation, fashion enthusiasts will receive a glass of wine and entertainment from notable Saratoga Springs personalities.
Proceeds will benefit the temple’s scholarship program, and will also help to fund the ongoing renovation of the Frederick Allen Lodge No. 609. The Temple is a subordinate organization to the Lodge.
Models at the fashion show will include Supervisor Joanne Yepsen and her daughter Laura; Julie Johnson, wife of Mayor Scott Johnson, along with her son Connor; Maddie Cooperwitz and Rosa Anderson.
Anita Turner, a Temple member who is helping to organize the event, said the two scholarships are offered each year to an ethnic student with the highest GPA at both St. Peter’s Academy and Saratoga Springs High School.
